2nd DAN Black Belt & Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Japanese Sword

Steve began his martial art training in Omega Martial Arts in 2002 and currently holds the rank of 2nd Dan Black Belt. He enjoys teaching students kata and self defense, along with the various weapons utilized in the Omega system. He has also attained the ranking of Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Goshindo under Shihan Dana Abbott. Goshindo is a Japanese sword system based on the traditional disciplines of Iaido, Kenjutsu and Tameshigiri. Steve is a founding partner in a financial services firm and enjoys spending time with his family snow skiing, hiking, mountain climbing and riding ATV's in the mountains.
