John Hyde

John Hyde has been training at Omega Martial Arts since 2001 and has obtained the rank of 1st Dan Black Belt. Along with assisting in classes, John received his certificate for teaching Chanbara from Shihan Dana Abbott, the International Director for Sports Chanbara Association. John wants to use the traditional sword training emphasized by Shihan Abbott in his Chanbara classes at Omega White Tiger. John will be working on his Judo/Jujitsu over the next couple of years at Omega. John is a Pharmacy Manager for Walgreen's. He and his wife of 21 years enjoy all things outdoors. John is especially passionate about upland bird hunting.
